JORGE BARRAGAN JR.
My first encounter with footgolf was in 2013. With a few months under my belt, I won my first tournament December 2013 at Cherry Island Golf Course in Sacramento. That small taste of success early in my footgolf career, lead me to fall deeper in love with the new sport. I joined OFGC in early 2014.
I've been actively playing the sport for about 2 in half years now, participating in tournaments all over California. My breakout party came in August of 2015 when I placed 2nd at the 4th stop of the U.S Pro-Am Tour at Haggis Oaks Golf Complex. This achievement earned me a spot on the U.S. National team. Two months later, I tied for 3rd place at the National Championship Tournament in Chicago. As a U.S. National footgolf player, I participated in the 2016 Footgolf World Cup in Argentina where we came home World Cup champions! TEAM USA #1. For the future, I look forward to playing and growing the sport into a household activity all over the world. FAVORITE COURSE: CHERRY ISLAND |
